About the Kalsubai Trek (Highest Peak Of Maharashtra)
Kalsubai peak is one of the most eminent one in the treks of Maharashtra. It is prominently regarded as the night treks. Emerging wisely at 5400ft, Kalsubai peak attracts its travellers from trekkers of Pune as well as from Mumbai. There are majestically beautiful views including small rivulets, meadows, pastures and fortifications.
Religiously pious and sanctification of the Kalsubai temple and the vibrations of sacred hymns refreshen our souls. A young girl Kalsubai is said to have lived in the nearby locality who helped to cure villagers and animals. She prevented them from calamities and aided them. One unfortunate day, she departed for the conquest of the summit and never really came back. Temples are built in her beloved memoirs. The treks near Pune records the spectacular vision of the fortresses such as Alang, Madan and Kulang. The defying of the treks being undertaken is extremely daring. If the shades of the skies and clouds are apt, you may also view Harishchandragad and Ratangad. The views are supremely impressive and trekkers of India are daunted.

It was really good experience with the whole trek team and moving forward to have more treks with TOM, I have gone for Kalsubai, The Highest Peak of Maharashtra on which is conducted on 24 and 25 June. It was really good experience with whole team, and the trek leader specially want to mention the name Shamal, she's the best trek leader I would say.

First time in life I went for a solo trekking with the team of ‘Trekking of Maharashtra’. I am 41 and this was my 3rd trekking experience! Initially I was bit hesitant but then as we started trekking, we all became one group. Took care of each other and enjoyed some special moments! Best Time to Visit Kalsubai Peak - June to August for Monsoon Trek, September to October for flowers trek, November to May night treks are recommended. During May end you can see the blanket of pre-monsoon clouds below the peak.
